I look forward to seeing the alternative, should be interesting.

No doubt the FT will be on tonight crowing.

No it won't. For a start, he can't own more than 10% without the approval of 75%. I am almost cetain that there will be other things which are tied to 75% as well.

Seems that some think that MM has gone too far. The worm has turned.

I can see me ripping up my season ticket soon.......

That might relieve the tensions but it might be better to send it back to the Club to show the strength of feeling. ;)

If this is true (and I have no reason to doubt Boc, he's usually right), I hope the shareholder have made the decision based on what they think is best for the club, rather than their own pockets.

I am sure that they will have been thinking of both. I see this as a measure of the way that they feel that they have been ****ed about by MM, and also that they want to see whether an alternative will out itself.

MM has lowered his bid several times - it takes two to make a bargain.

Unlikely, whats the alternative? :102:

There is a play about that, it is called "Waiting for Godot". ;)

If you wanted me to wait until it gets in the newspapers before telling you, you should have let me know!
:icon_wink

But if you want to be the bearer of breaking news then its only natural that amongst all the gossip thats been going on, that folk would be interested in the source so they can debate its validity.

I have read so many times that MM has lowered his bid, but never the reasons.

yeah that one worries me too. Why would someone lower the bid when the fools are struggling to agree on a better deal.....makes no sense at all

Pretty much the worst possible outcome - why am I not surprised?

Only good point is it should see TNBD out the door.

Not if the outcome is "As you were Gentlemen"

But it seems he reduced the offer well after due diligence had been completed.
It's as though he waited for the transfer window to close so we couldn't sell any playersl, before reducing the offer, thinking we'd be desperate to sell.

We will only be desperate to sell when there are no buyers. ;)
