He seems to get dispossessed once right at the beginning of each game. It's as if he forgets he's going to be challenged.

Nice picture and I just can't take my eyes off that t-shirt and ties combination.

Don't mean to offend you Motown, I've just always wanted to quote that line.

He finally waved to the fans today.

Looked behind him first towards the Brizzle fans before he either realised or was told it was our lot asking him to 'give us a wave'.

Twas an amusing moment, though I guess you had to have been there to think it funny.:icon_bigg

It was one of those moments that made the trip worthwhile :icon_bigg

About the only one!!

Takes the piss when the best thing that happened was during the warm-up!:081:

The curry sauce on the chips from further up the road was pretty good too!

Maybe not worth a 250 mile round trip but not bad all the same!

He is superb...
Everyone seems really keen on him. I haven't seen him apart from his ten minute headless chicken debut against Cardiff. It'd be nice for the ex-pats to get a bit of perspective.

Is it a case of being relieved because we thought he was a real turkey but it turns out he's OK? Or does he look genuinely brilliant, could step up to the Premier League no problem?

He has definitely got better with every game. Has got good energy and is good at winning the ball back, as well as keeping it simple and finding a man with a pass. Also has very good technique. Rightly keeping Oakley out the side at the moment.

My only worries are he still seems to sometimes be too hesitant on the ball and can get caught out. However these are becoming less frequent occurances.

Whether or not he can make the step up the Premier League is too early to tell, but alot will depend on whether he not he can get fully used to playing at a higher tempo.

Looked tidy when I watched him against Derby, but that was admittedly a very limited view. Sven clearly rates him as Oakley hasn't really had a sniff since he took over.

As you mentioned turkey, enjoy yours this week Des!

I've never thought much to him but seeing him yesterday he looked a different player. If he can keep up that sort of performance he'll do just fine.
