Not sure what the fuss is about with Marco Silva. Think Mancini would be my preferred option. It all depends on our level of ambition. If you want to stay up year after year, Shakespeare would be as good a choice as any. If he fails he will just get the boot anyway, as can be said for anyone else these days!

Glad I'm not the only one then. Achieved some good results but not quite enough good enough results to keep them out of the shit. A bit like that Phelan chap did at the start for them.

On reflection, maybe the best thing that could have happened.

Shakespeare is not a manager.

Over the weeks, layer after layer of the tactical sophistication introduced by Ranieri is being lost.

I'm now convinced that not bringing in a new manager this summer would be suicidal.

I'm not saying this as a knee jerker but I can't help think if we stick with Shakespear we are just repeating 2006 again. I liked Rob Kelly just as I like Craig Shakespeare. They are good coaches. We need to attract good players. I think a Mancini has a better chance of achieving that.

Not a ****ing chance after that, I was borderline before but there is no chance they will give it him.

The fact not one single rumour of a different appointment leads me to think Shakespeare already has it

Exactly what I think and I'm sure they would already have someone in mind.

If it wasn't the press would be linking people to the job
Didn't link Ranieri.

I hope we go elsewhere and try to rebuild now.

Don't thin I'd enjoy watching us next season under shakey.

It's what me and Miley said an age ago, a top to bottom overhaul is called for - and that's been obvious all season.

I'm nervous for what lies ahead. This summer really could be a tipping point - push on and establish ourselves as a top half premier team, or poor rebuilding after losing half our squad and back to the dark days in the championship. I don't know why it feels so black and white. I think I basically can't handle the unknown. I'll just go and hide in a cupboard for a few months.

There's always The Safe House

Isn't that where Homer waits in a darkened room waiting for his next victim? Nah, you're alright. I'm happier worrying about whether Shaky is the best person for the job thanks.
