Answer me this why wouldn't they choose us over Preston. If a player had to choose between Ipswich and Preston who would you think they would choose at this moment? Now ask yourself who finished higher over the last few seasons?

I'm sure our league cup success all those years ago will encourage players to come to us, but maybe they will go Forest instead I mean they did win the European cup a while back :icon_lol::icon_lol:

Thanks for helping me waste time at work, I have to agree with you we are the mightly Leicester City why wouldnt players come to us, we have a nice pretty ground. Bring on all these top quality players I mean we have signed a League 2 Player, a reserve goalie and a SPL (in reality League 1) player.

I would just give up, at the end of the day every single half decent player is going to go to Preston or any other team that has finished above us for the last 4 years, It's a fact, I mean look at Tunchev, he's doing brilliantly at Cardiff, there's no way on earth he would have chosen us, what with him being a fully fledged international, Oh and Danny N'guessen, you can't blame him for going to Sheff Utd, after all they have consistantly finished above us for as long as my little kind can remember.

Let's just hope we can get that Jack Hobbs from the Premiership to join us, although I bloody well doubt it.

Im quite sure Sheff Utd were quite annoyed that one of they're targets came to us, afterall we are only the League 1 champs, what a muppet he must have been to have come here, or maybe he took more into consideration than the last 5 years average finishing positions :icon_roll

Preston's ground isn't a Shithole.It used to be but it isn't anymore.
In my opinion Andy Keogh isn't going to go and play for Preston North End and he isn't going to play for Leicester City.If he leaves Wolves then I would imagine it would be for a team that are either in the Premier League or are more likely than ourselves to be in the Premier League,regardless of whether they are big small,medium sized or pear shaped

Fair enough the top two or three are usaully picked on club size money to spend etc but then there always seems to be a lot of clubs on the same sort of odds these are the teams that untill the season has started are impossible to predict. Last season qpr were the richest club in the world and most bookies were tipping them but they ended up nowhere.
Anyway i am boring myself now none of it matters what will be will be and nothing we say will change that.

What I am saying is bookies do get it wrong a lot of the times, but in a ten horse race the bookie has nine to beat your horse, as you know working at Betfred.

And working in the Industry for 16 years on and off.He may have 9 to beat your horse but who is to say one of them nine will have more money riding on it than yours ? I like the way you body swerved the fact we were 2nd favourites last year and I'd imagine its very hard too swerve anything with a body that size

everybody knew we were going up last season, so that wasn't too hard to predict.
A bookie will lay bets off as to lessen the blow if it happens, anyway I am not telling you your job am I, you know very well what I mean
