Bradley Johnson did. It holds no water your argument as usual though because they are in a division below us. From our division I would say that only Newcastle are a bigger club with several around the same size as us. Sure they might have better teams but they are not bigger than us. It can't be that hard to get your head around surely.

I would expect a player to choose Wigan or Bolton over us at the moment because they are in the higher division but are they a bigger club? I do not think so. I will predict that we will undoubtedly average more than both of them in attendance this season.

Players will go to Preston, Reading etc because they have better teams and have been nearer the top of the table for the last couple fo seasons. :icon_roll

:icon_roll If you think that is all that matters to the modern day footballer then I hope you are happy in your little bubble of ignorance.

Forget the fact that they would earn higher wages, play in front of bigger crowds etc, they will just think that teams like Preston are just fabulous because they lost in the play offs.

Teams like Preston will not challenge for the playoffs forever, they have failed time and time again and it is time for other clubs to step up and have a go, we could be one of those clubs, we might not be, but at the moment I would not envisage us having trouble atteacting players over Preston and the likes.

I would expect so given the noise being made from within the club. Was It not MM himself who said 'We will have a real good go' Seems they would have to be pretty stupid not to know the expectation people including those within the club have.

Well indeed and we have already attracted and beaten off competition for the signatures of Atsradoda,Im'Guessin and Weale....it shows a real statement of intent when you can attract the likes of these boys

I've not really gave it a lot of thought,it seems a little 'obvious' akin to saying 'it only takes a second to score a goal'

I think they are better then us because they have finished in a better position then us for the last 5 SEASONS!

Are you seriously suggesting that a player looking to move clubs will ignore how the team has performed in the past couple of seasons and what the current squad is and concentrate on how nice the ground and training facilities are?

Yes I do, and I expect all of those clubs to make a challenge too, what the hell is so wrong with expecting us to do the same?

Your lack of ambition and belief is bewildering considering the momentum we are carrying, I also believe all the signing we have made except Astroid should improve us as a team.

But I must be wrong because Man U were not trying to sign them.
