There is a difference between being a midfielder and playing a few games in midfield. He has said he prefers to play in defence.

Daniel Sturridge prefers playing as a centre forward. He's not going to though at Chelsea and it can be argued he's better playing out wide.

Well I'm not afraid to disagree. Good as he is, I've always thought the best partnership would be Mills and St Ledger and so it is proving.

The problem with Sol is that no one appears comfortable playing alongside him.
