An hour and a half ago we lost to derby and i'd lost all hope with kelly but now i've calmed down i'm trying to work out whether:

A: Kelly is making the most of what is a poor squad

or

B: Kelly's no good.

What do you think?

Both points.

Kelly has inheritied a young team or are green and have a lot to learn and currently they are not capable of any promotion push. For his, RK has done well in this respect. I question his selection today, no Sylla but Fryatt and Hughes still in.

But....

So far his player judgement and signings have not added anything to the team. I remember reading that some of the better players in our team were down to Kelly (Hume, McCarthy) and hopefully with Mandy's Millions, he will do better and identify what we need.

Is it any coincidence that this poor run as happened since the takeover scenario came about. Maybe they can't handle the pressure of knowing their positions are under serious threat if there was a cash injection into the club:102:

Crap Midfield...

I think our GK's are ok aswell as our DF's the midfield needs a serious shape up upfront i cant really comment they have had poor service all season.

I think we've got a crap squad with a crap manager. That's why I think we are struggling

theres only one answer then!

RK is making the most of a young squad who are still learning their trade we could do with an experienced midfield holding player that can help out the youngsters but as we all know there is no money in the pot yet for any such player.

I wouldn't go as far as saying Kelly is no good but I do question his starting line up at times when he plays the likes of Welsh, Fryatt and Maybury.

alright guys my first post so hear it goes,

we need someone who can create and attack in midfield we get to the final third and then pass back to kisnorbo and mc carthy then lump it up field and loose it. i no we have williams but we cant be certain hes going to be fit and when he is hes lazy! quality in midfield and we wunt be in alf da trouble we are in.

RK has a poor squad capable of finishing mid table at best. I am slowly coming to the conclusion though that he is not getting the best out of them. I'm not even sure that RK knows what his best team is.
1. Why is De Vries still in Holland? He's not great but he would give a different option up front.
2. Why has he been playing Stearman in centre midfield? Nearly as pointless as CL playing PK there.
3. If Sylla is not injured where was he today? Again not a fantastic player but recently better than Stearman, Maybury or Low at RM.

At the moment I think it would be a brave decision by MM to stick with him when he takes over.

weve got no option but 2 use stearman in cm because the rest r injured who wud u play in midfield? totaly agree about sylla though nn fox

Hi Joe, good to have you on board.

Against Preston he played Stearman in CM with Tiatto LM and both Welsh and Porter on the bench.

yea why did he have to thow weve got sylla and low neither injured. im starting 2 question kellys ideas

I think that just about everyone has come to the same conclusion about our non-existant midfield sadly it something that no team can do without no matter who they are and i hope if MM gets the nod, he can help to get a holding and an attacking midfielder.

We have no shape whatsoever without these two players,
who will hopefully fill the yawning gaps between defence and attack, then you might see a football team instead of the rabble we have at the moment

Do any off u think our midfield will improve wen Williams and Wesolowski come back to full fitness.... i mean if you think about it playing them two together will give our midfield a more balanced look to it... Williams can actually pass the ball to feet(When he feels like it) and Wesolowski is a good tackler... i like to see how we play with those two playing in midfield... if we are still utter shite with dem 2 then we are basically ****ed
