Is it any coincidence that this poor run as happened since Fryatt came back into the starting line up?

Saying we are subject to these coincidences is a kind way of saying we are not very good at the moment. ;)

Do any off u think our midfield will improve wen Williams and Wesolowski come back to full fitness.... i mean if you think about it playing them two together will give our midfield a more balanced look to it... Williams can actually pass the ball to feet(When he feels like it) and Wesolowski is a good tackler... i like to see how we play with those two playing in midfield... if we are still utter shite with dem 2 then we are basically ****ed

:038: In my opinion, that would be our ideal centre midfield pairing. They're both coming back from injury so hopefuly we'll see it happen soon.

No.

I don't think that we are that bad in fact. RK seems to have lost the plot completely with the team selection. He has not been consistent at all. There is no use playing a RB in a midfield position and playing a striker who isn't up to the job at all. I think he changes the midfield far too much. When we had the unbeaten run the midfield was consistently the same people. I don't understand why he can't play midfielders in their correct positions!!

Weso is okay but his injuries are a concern, Williams is no better than what we have at present.

Agreed. Weso has yet to prove himself over a decent run of games, Williams is yet to show that he can do what many suspect he could do if he could be arsed.

He should b playing this team at the moment , I think:

logan
RS - PK - PM - Johan
MS - Hughes - Tiatto - Porter
Hammond - Hume

All of these players aren't injuried and were available. I think!! RK is getting carried away with playing his favourite's instead of players that have been playing well/adequately.

We all seem agreed we have no midfield. Including the defence, so the ball is lumped over them with more hope than expectation.

Time to move to a 5-0-5 formation.

As crazy as that sounds OG, i'd tend to agree with it (the principle anyway)I'd go 4-3-3 with Tiatto, Williams and Sylla making up the 3 and Fryatt and Elvis up front with Hume playing through the middle of them and linking back to the midfield.

The midfield is shit, lets play to it's strengths

How about 1-9 formation, it will stop the long ball

We are struggling because we need at least 4 new midfielders in january.

P.S hello joe, nice name!

There was a note of seriousness in what I said, and something of the sort you suggest might help. 3 up front does make some use of Elvis's one great strength - being a bloody nuisance to defenders, which might mean, with the odd decent ball fron Sylla from wide, that the strikers have more to feed on. It would also tend to push defences back more, meaning he was offside less often.

Spot on Melton. Pick the system to suit the players you have. 4-3-1-2, which is what I think you are saying, will encourage them to play the ball on the ground and I too think that Hume could play a sort of Scholes role linking the play. Weso, O'Grady, Porter and McAuley on the bench would give some options if it needed changing.

I think that the guys in midfield would be overrun. They don't have the strength to play a 3 man midfield. Also at present i don't think that Fryatt brings anything to the team and should be replaced. RS should either go back to right back or the bench. We have enough midfield players to put out 4 across the middle.

How about.......Low, Hughes, Johnson, Welsh. That should frighten any opposition.

The point about 4-3-3 is that it would use the 'best' players in positions they are reasonably comfortable in.

we have enough difficult in midfield when their are 4 there what happens if there are 3. You're making a light weight midfield even lighter!!
