I know what you mean. I can't help thinking he'd have been better than Ndidi and James tonight however who were both average at best.

When we brought amartey in it should have been for one of them plus Shinji off for Nacho. Shinji runs himself into the ground but playing Amartey plus one or plus two makes **** all difference IMO.

Bit harsh
Not the least bit harsh. I've been against it from day one. If he was capable of management he'd have done it by now. Give him a fat payoff NOW before the damage is irreversible... players don't like it? Window is still open, cheerio.Player power is always a recipe for disaster. I love my club more than those ****s ever will. This Arsenal side are a bunch of backbone less bottling bastards & we just gave them a freebie. **** that, when will we get a better chance? **** it all.

I thought Ndidi and James played well, as did most of the team. Mahrez didn't appear until the second half... but then played better. Never expected much, we might have lost anyway but Shakey's subs definitely didn't help.

To be fair, we were playing without Mahrez and Morgan.

Mahrez just continued on from last season.

It's not really that much of a mystery as to why a slightly above average Italian side are the only ones willing to pay for him.

Who said we can't score without him?

Not a fan of the Shakey decision either but it's a bit early days to be calling the players ****s and the manager a cab when we've played pretty well (certainly a lot better than I expected) and rallied after a massive early setback.

Morgan has gone over. Ive not doubt of that. Mahrez will never reproduce the form he's capable of while he's here. Shakespeare cocked up the subs. It was far from perfect but there's no way that side goes down (I honestly expected much much worse).

Disappointing but better than expected.

Some.of the over reaction on here tonight is laughable.

The fact that those of us wanting Shakespeare out are in a small minority at present doesn't make us wrong. It's only a matter of time before most people think the same.

He will be a failure, it is a 100% certainty.

Stupid, stupid substitutions means we pissed the game away

An absolute stock staring steaming shitfest from Mahrez. Mnd numbingly fecking awful from start to finish. Whatever Roma now offer, we must take it, because clearly he plays the full game every game regardless of the fact he's wank

Morgan wasn't far behind. He's gone, good and proper

Pissflaps

After one game your saying it's a 100% chance fans will want him out are you mad it's the first game and we've not beaten arsenal for 20+yrs

Ture. Given that we gave it a go shows we're capable of change under Skakytits. We'd have settled on a 10-0 drubbing at the end of the season. He now needs to think about selling Mahrez to get some sponds for a defender and central midfielder. Once they're in I reckon we'll stay up and his job is safe.

That's my point really...we won't go down. That's the limit of our ambition is it? **** that. I've had that all my life. As I crawl toward the grave I expect better from a team that started last season as defending champions. We'll do nothing more than survive under hack management & pandering to players who don't give 2 shits about the club. & eventually we won't even do that. The nature of decay is that it accelerates. Cut it out as early as possible or youre ****ed.

Is that the same '100% certainty' you had about our relegation (which you told us about time and time again) if we didn't sack Pearson during our first season?

You have two balls neither of which are crystal and therefore you know the same as all of us with regards to the future of this season; **** all.

Its clear we need to get rid of Mahrez now.

Take the cash and buy some players with it.

I want players who want to be here, the way he's been playing for a year now means we won't actually miss him as much as before.

It's not his first game in charge, it's his 17th.

As I've said before, you can see our tactical know-how that Ranieri developed being systematically destroyed by someone that simply doesn't have a clue what he's doing.

We have some very good players that can get us some results and we can gloss over poor management to a certain extent if they deliver. However, managers are very, very important and their lack of ability will show through eventually.

The only thing in his favour is the fact that the players like him. But that won't count for a lot when their efforts prove fruitless over and over again. He is a dud.

His pass to vardy was just awful get rid you are quite right. There is a vast difference between ability and effort !!

I hate playing ****ing Arsenal. The one team I've still never seen us beat.

I didn't agree with the subs but I am not necessarily blaming them.

A lot of positives. The main negative... Arsenal were there for the taking.

Gutted.

Bottom of the league. Defended like blind incompetents. Awful in midfield. Mindless substitutions. Shakespeare out.

Some excellent play from our forward players. They'll soon get sick of it all as the goals against column ticks over rapidly.

Here is exhibit 'a' for this season in the 'Shakespeare cannot manage us' prosecution. Surely, no team will get a better chance against Arsenal than that. They were there for the taking, begging to get beaten and somehow we find a way to lose.

Why do you actually follow football Brown Nose?

Serious question as you obviously don't seem to enjoy it.
