We were poor by our usual standards but if our final ball / finishing had been better on a couple of occasions we'd all be talking about a comfortable win. Fine margins.
Reminds me of the first three quarters of last season under Pearson.

That 2nd half was a ****ing insult to football.

You are quite right Lako. I can think of three insults to football;the Jimmy Gauld * match fixing scandal of the 1960s awarding the World Cup to Qatar and the second half of the Aston Villa-Leicester match. There is a precedent for FA action. The players involved in the match fixing were banned for life. Surely those Leicester players involved in losing 1-1 away to Villa should be treated the same.

Full confession: at the time I thought Claudio's substitutions' made sense. We were defending a 1-0 lead. Claudio brought on De Laet a defender with pace at a time when players were tired. He also brought on Ulloa who defends well for a striker and gives us height when defending corners.

* For the benefit of younger members Jimmy Gauld was the brains behind fixing a number of football matches. The result was a number of players being sent to prison including the then England centre half Peter Swan and left half (midfielder) Tony Kay.

Away draw in a (sort of) midlands derby by a team that was likely to be a bit drained after the Spurs game - another away game and only 3 days previous. It was always likely to be tough and it's been clear for a bit now that our stand out attacking players are a bit weary/ stale. Let's try to be slightly real for a change - I thought I was supposed to be the miserable bastard here but it's hard to understand some of the comments from some folk who need to try to at least partially embrace reality.

Thank you, David. It benefited me even though I no longer think of myself as younger.

I remember during the 90's stopping at a pub outside of Chesterfield, on the way back from a game in Sheffield. Where Peter Swan was the landlord, had pictures up on the wall of him shaking hands with Pele
