I have just watched the match, it having been shown at 7 am this morning, so I recorded it. My summary is a well deserved win due to talent, organisation and desire. Their first goal was Castagne way out of position and not having time to re-adjust to the reality in the penalty area.

Our first goal was KDH harassing and Maddison's sheer class. Their second goal was just one of those things. Our second goal, well I have not yet heard anyone yet praise the ball from KDH to Barnes plus the flick from Kristiansen to make the cross.

Our third goal was a sign of things to come. A great run from Tete spotted by Ian. The goal of the match. Our fourth goal was a mis-reading of the ball by the Villa defender.

Overall, I felt like we played like we did when we were challenging for a place in the top four.

I think that we can win the FA Cup and qualify for Europe. We have the skill, we have the desire and we can do it.

That goal was very, very good, starting with KDH's initial cross field ball to Barnes and then when the first cross was cleared it was an excellent layoff from Kristiansen to Barnes to set him up to cross.

It was one game, the majority on here were/are expecting a relegation scrap including me, let's see what happens over the next 9 games, the next three we will be lucky to get 1 point from but the following 6 are very winnable, plus we have Rodgers as manager....
