While we're sort of on the subject anyone know of reasonable priced car hire for August?

I'll probably fly in to Birmingham (possibly Stansted) and need a car for about 10 days. prices don't seem very consumer friendly though.

Arnold Clark are meant to be very good,I have a friend (just the one yeah) who was quoted between £220 and £270 for 12 day hire and she got it for £170 with Arnold Clark..just a shame she can't remember what type of car it is:icon_roll
