not much of an insight this week

However what he says about Hellings surprises me, after i heard cracking reviews about him in Europe

the only cracking review of him in europe was eurotrash!

My view is getting critiscm including boos is part and parcel of their job they certianly get paid enough for it.

The boos may be unfairly delt out particurly against non white players but at the end of the day the players know when things dont go well they will be booed.

The best way to stop booing is play well.

All footballers get paid pretty well. I'm thinking that if I was a footballer getting plenty of pay whether I play well or go missing for most of the match what would motivate me to play well? Somehow I don't think booing would inspire me to try too hard. "Walk a mile in my shoes" Joe South, says it all. :icon_conf

It doesn't surprise me. I think we can easily dedude that Sergio Hellings is a terrible player for this level of football. It's been pretty obvious already but when we're playing defenders and right-backs in midfield instead of an actual midfielder it just backs this up. Again, I feel sorry for this guy (like to do Neilsen). It's not their fault they were signed up by a manager who didn't have a clue about them and we should help them both out and find them new clubs.

Cracking post.

I don't see why anyone should feel sorry for them.

They accepted well paid contracts without the threat of a gun to the head and can leave whenever they want, they just need to submit transfer requests and accept lower wgaes at whatever new club is prepared to give them a shirt.

Drive them to Harwich and lob them on the next ferry to The Hook.

Quite enjoyed reading that. He seems to think Big Sam is a good manager.

I would agree: just not as sure that he is an honest one.

He did a really good job at Bolton. Totally transformed them. Shame about Newcastle, I think maybe Prem clubs want instant success more so than this league.

What do you know? I never knew Englebert Humperdinck was a Leicester City fan? I've always been a closet fan of his (who could forget The Last Waltz?) but never knew we had anything in common except for we both have great voices and women throw their knickers at us ... :icon_bigg:icon_wink

Can you tell I'm bullshitting?

I know that Humperdink comes from Leicester, but I thought that we had asked him to put money into the club in the dark days and he had declined on the grounds that he wasn't a football fan: or, is my defective memory playing me up again?

He probably said that in the same fashion as we would brush off a tramp with a bottle of white lightening who's asking for spare change.
