Happy Birthday, Lee H and good luck with the Marathon. I ran three half marathons one year a few years back. My best time was 1 hour 30 and I have nothing but respect for those doing a whole one. Do you have a time in mind?

My quickest half is a shameful 1hr 56. :icon_redf Based on this, I have put down a time of 4½ hours for the full. However I have done a couple of 3hr sessions, covering around 20 miles, which is 4hr marathon time, if I can maintain that kind of pace, I will be chuffed!
Your half is a really good time. I would love to run a 1hr 30 half, but I will be aiming for a more realistic 1hr 45 this autumn instead.
