I missed the goal he missed the flare. He won.

When Fludie walked passed me I assume he was going for a piss, not going home!! 75 minutes wasn't it??

Did you get your connection at york?

My heart tells me this is the start of a great february run which will cement our place in the top 6. My head tells me we will draw at least one of our next two home games, resulting in everyone being pissed off on here and me heading for the safehouse yet again!

Give me 4 points out of the next two games and I'll be delighted. Winnable games, yes, but there's a big difference between that and having three points on the board.

Enjoyed yesterday! Good win and a very open and good game, not the best quality however! Thought N'Guessan played well as did Hobbs and Brown. Was very relieved to see Bannan go off for them though in the first half as he was causing us a lot of problems and looked very dangerous, overall though a good win as Blackpool are doing well and we were not doing well away from home before yesterday.

Agree with this. I thought his movement was exceptional and we really struggled to pick him up. While Waghorn and Gallagher both impacted the game very positively when we were attacking, I thought their defensive contribution was really questionable and more often than not, the free man should have been their responsibility.

that Dobbie looked good on the highlights

Gotta say I thought Gallypants was a flop, but he's starting to justify his transfer fee in the past couple of games.

I'm not sure NP knew what to do with Gallagher when he signed him and it seemed like he was given too much freedom. He looks good on the right now though, great bit of play by Gally in the build up to the second goal too.

Out of interest for those who were there yesterday, were we really playing 4-3-3 like the football league show claimed, or was it more of a 4-5-1?

It's a system Pearson has used in the last few games.

Off the ball 4-5-1 with counter attack support for Fryatt coming from Gallagher, Oakley and Waghorn.

He's been dropped for their next game as well for going out on the piss on Saturday night :081:

Donnie and Scunthorpe will be a real test.
We've clearly got lots of attacking options and have no trouble shifting the ball about on the counter.
Fryatt clearly enjoys working with Waghorn, Gallagher, N'Guessan, Dyer and King, who move the ball about and each have a turn of pace over 5 yards.
I think we will always have inconsistency to us though whilst we have a lack of defensive balance in midfield and while we are unsure over who to play at right back/centre back.

All in all though - we are in a great position for a club that was completely on its arse 18 months ago. And we are doing it the right way with cheaply bought youth (fryatt, hobbs, morrisson, n'guessan, waghorn, gallagher, dyer) and experience rather than spending silly millions like forest, wba and middlesborough who can bring in players for £3million plus in an aim to buy the division.

I agree, totally, with your first three paras. I start to lose you in the final one. Let us be honest; we, the fans, would be delighted to welcome multi-million pound signings and, were they to be as successful as Forest's new boys have been, so would the chairman. I accept that we are not in a position so to do, and applaud NP's fantastic ability to get more than anyone else would from our squad.

Unlike most posters I thought Gallacher had a pretty ordinary game. A lot of his passing went astray, and his defensive positioning was dire.

League Admit Adam Penalty Mistake
After several Blackpool fans emailed the Football League after referee Andy Haines failed to award the Seasiders a penalty in the closing seconds of Saturday's defeat against Leicester, the authority have responded by admitting that the official made a mistake.

The Football League statement reads:

'Having reviewed the incident in question, our head of referees (Dave Allison) acknowledges that a penalty should have been awarded in this instance.

'This is supported by the match assessor who was in attendance and it will be reflected in his report.'

Perhaps several Leicester fans should email the Football League about the feeing of Matty Fryatt last night.

What a load of bollocks. What about that handball in the Newcastle match??

FFS if we emailed the FL every time the refs got summat wrong like that in our games the FL would be apologizing every week!

As fans we moan that the refs are above the law and untouchable. This clearly shows that fans have the power to at least get mistakes noticed. If anyone knows the email address to contact I will certainly do so, and think we all should if we want refs to improve.

The problem lies that the refs can say sorry all they want, it makes feck all difference once the mistake has been made
