With a bit of luck they'll also start limiting the amount of Coffey in parliament soon. If suggest the limit be initially set to zero.

And the mad thing is, if there was a GE tomorrow they would still get quite a lot of lunatics/selfish pricks still voting for them.

It should be a landslide win for the opposition but it wouldn't be.

you could stick a blue rosette on a scarecrow here in Melton and the old dears would shake it by the hand and say "keep the darkies out, get Brexit done, bring back hanging"

Tomatoes are the new bogroll.

The 21st century continues to thrill. I'm barely able to contain my excitement at finding out which shit TV show will be " reimagined " as the next blockbuster spectacular. Or which overhyped, talent free purveyor of substandard lingerie or rank cologne will release the next "awesome " number 1 single.

All while desperately waiting for Spring & Summer so I can at least treat myself to a bottle of own brand cider thanks to not having to have the heating on. A brief respite before worse to come next winter.

Tomorrow's World never had anything to say about this shite.

What a time to be alive.

Surely we've learned by now that pouring cheap labour into our country is a bad thing?

Isn't two generations of stagnant wage growth enough for you?

The answer is to reward people for doing unpopular jobs. There is a point at which every job is attractive.

Since the 1980s, we've funnelled kids through universities for mainly wanky jobs whilst simultaneously undermining meaningful occupations like caring and nursing and building.

Sorting this mess out will be very expensive and painful but it's the only way.
Migrant workers are absolutely not the cause of stagnant wage growth. It's myths like this that perpetuate the sort of misinformation that led to us leaving the EU.

Wages have stagnated because there are hundreds of loopholes through which employers can keep costs low and prices high. These loopholes will always exist, whether those positions are filled by migrant workers or not.

I absolutely agree that the way in which public sector workers are remunerated for the work they do is nothing short of scandalous but the idea that this is because we have low paid workers coming into the country is a nonsense that many business owners love you to believe.

We can afford to spend £10m on a Eurovison Song Contest, we can afford countless MP salary hikes, we can waste money like you wouldn't believe in the NHS and other public bodies, we can piss billions away on governmental frivolities but we're told that we can't afford to pay wages that match inflation. It's bollocks. It's not either or. We are perfectly able to pay people their worth and have the luxury of a pool of workers who will provide labour at a reasonable cost on our doorstep. We've closed the door on the second and are still trying to blame it for the first.

The facts are simple; we need foreign labour. We have done for generations and nothing will stop this. We have, however, shut the door on our biggest source of foreign labour. This won't lead to higher wages, only higher prices. People are expensive so instead of paying them more, you charge them more for the things they can't live without; heat, food, water. You then don't need as many bodies to deliver or manufacture anything because you limit the amount of people who can afford to purchase these things.

In short, **** the Tories. **** every single last one of them and their 11% (above inflation) payrise.

It’s all the fault of the immigants - even when it was the bears, I knew it was them

I'd describe this argument as a 'Danny Ward' defence.

Danny Ward = someone well out of his depth flailing around randomly.
Yeah. Probably easier to blame bloody Johnny Foreigner and all that lot for why beans and shit are more expensive. ****ing arseholes coming over here making our Cathedral City £5.50.

I saw a sun bear in Edinburgh the other day. Sat on his arse doing nothing, getting fed for nowt n all. Bloody bears, coming over here etc etc

Look at the idle fat ****! Free house an’ all no doubt. Bet he’s a terrorist.

Scotland is pretty much just heroin, bears and speed cameras these days. It'd be interesting to know if the other 2 coincided with the introduction of bears.
