Late goal for them, as we finish with 8 men. Beckford and Danns sent off, Delfouneso off injured.

Ah well. Always next season...

7 points off the playoffs as it stands, although Birmingham, Hull and Reading (6th, 7th, 8th) all have games in hand.

I still don't think that is season over. The team has looked a lot better recently and the new signings are adding to the team.

More worried about the impact of today's game for the upcoming fixtures than anything.... Danns and Beckford now facing suspensions, and how long will Delfouneso be out for?

We're going to be very light up top for the Cardiff game, which is going to make it extremely hard to get much needed 3 points to keep the play off hopes alive. Could be over this time next week.

Not with big Stevie ready to come in!

Everyone phoning in complaining about the ref and saying they've cost us... I don't really think that can be decided until we find out WHY Beckford was sent off.

If it was foul and abusive language, we can't really complain and Beckford's been a very silly boy.

I've never known a case for a player to be sent off for foul and abusive language directed at another player. It was the Assistant referee who flagged it and Sky Sports seemed to think it was very dubious as Beckford didn't seem to be overreacting too much.

Nige not saying what Beckford was sent off for. Doesn't want to get in trouble, wants to wait and see if the ref's comments match up with his match report (that seems strange?)

Play off hopes! What play off hopes?

They were slim but with the recent up turn in performances I think most of us were clutching onto those slim hopes. I personally don't think we'll do it and haven't for a while but there is a large swathe of the fan base that probably thought before today that we were still in with a good shout.

Nige not happy with the tackle on Delfouneso either by the sounds of it, but again trying not to comment on the ref's performance. Probably sensible!

We will not get in the top 10.

Abject performance upon abject performance. We can't break teams down if they defend deep, if we go a goal behind then we cannot turn it around. If we go down to ten-men, we never get a result. If we need a late winner, it doesn't come. If we need to defend against other teams' need for a late winner, we can't hold on. The occasional run a one-win, two draws is never going to be enough.. let's be realistic.
