Oh, sorry. Please let me know how many games into the season we have to wait until opinions can be offered

It is pretty much accepted by those who in football and those who report on football that any league table is complete rubbish until at least 10 games have been played.

Do you think Liverpool fans are talking about relegation because of their start?

It would all be very different if we had received a copy of the team photo

Until we do, it's downhill all the way

Who was talking about relegation? Who mentioned league tables?

I think the comments made were about us not playing to what are our obvious strengths.....try reading it again?

What I meant to say was only one post has heavily criticised Sousa. On this forum, if you say something negative about the club albeit a performance or a board-level decision, posters seem to write it off as the OP compeltely writing off the club, the manager etc and assuming we're doomed.

The extremely concerning thing about Saturday's performance was the complete lack of fight three games into a season.

Our stengths are that we can be a very hard team to beat if we work hard and grind out results. We rarely gave teams an easy chance to walk through our defence last season, this year we seem to have no support for our back 4 from midfield. Hard work is often a good substitute for ability where it is lacking, it worked for us last season but we appear to have replaced that tactic with PS's 'passing it about' tactic.

Again(other than yourself) - Who was talking about relegation and who mentioned league tables?

Damn that PS with his 'passing it about' tactic. Lets get behind the ball stop the other team from scoring and hope a long ball to Howard will work, I mean its been three games and passing isnt working so lets go back to route one!!

You have mentioned them twice all by yourself!! It was also mentioned in post 10 and then I got bored of looking :icon_lol:

Did I say we should ditch it all together? I actually said its an approach that would work given an extra bit of quality added to our team, until we have that quality it would make more sense to go with what we know works. I don't see how that can be seen as a negative thought really?

It must work this is our obvious strength for god sake!

I'm sure you can tell the difference between being hard to beat an playing route one? Manure and Cheatsea have taken the approach of being difficult to play against and scoring an odd goal for many a year, without resorting to route one football.

Every team should aim at being hard to beat, but you shouldnt style your football around it otherwise you end up going out not to lose rather than trying to win.

PS is trying to get us into the passing style and there is no reason why the players we currently have cant play a pass and go game they just need time to adapt.

Do 50yard passes from Chelsea count as route 1 football?
