Why choose that as a quote when that isn't what I said at all? Seeing as you mentioned it though-I was far from being Pearson's biggest fan (me referring to him as 'the messiah' may have been taken too literally) I'm pretty sure other teams have managers who focus on hard work.

If they were hoofing it up field every time they had the chance then yes. Their approach was more direct than Arsenal but wouldn't have described them as being route one at all.

What I meant to say was only one post has heavily criticised Sousa. On this forum, if you say something negative about the club albeit a performance or a board-level decision, posters seem to write it off as the OP compeltely writing off the club, the manager etc and assuming we're doomed.

The extremely concerning thing about Saturday's performance was the complete lack of fight three games into a season.

My dad's attitude sums up my feeling of the reactions on a lot of people on here.

Released by Watford summer of last year - only appeared 3 times for them before anterior cruciate ligament injury in training - never fully recovered and leemorrised his way to the end of his contract. Trials with a couple of MLS sides came to nothing.
