We played absolute rubbish! We really need to sort the defense out and soon! Only Wellens, Hobbs, Bruno and DJ played average! They say we have 10million to sort the team out, we need more than bloody 10million!

Its not just Neilsen and N'Guessan its Oakley and Howard as well...they are not good enough.

I think we are in that dilemma period do we let Sousa loose with all that money or wait and see if he can turn things around.

I think he should be given some money right away to get some much needed quality in.

A striker is a must, as well as a creative midfielder.

Was anybody else worried when they saw this. Limited up front. No width. Slow in defence. Too many pllayers who can go missing. I could go on...

Weale

Neilson
Hobbs
Moreno
Berner

King
Oakley
Wellens

Howard
Campbell
N'Guessan

I can confirm that you were not the only person who realised that this was total sub standard shite.

That team has looks like the mediocre shite that I saw a few years back. While we are at it we might as well bring back lee marshall, ade akinbiyi and matt heath.

That's the problem with the loan system, great if it pays off and we get promoted, but we did not and the new manager has had so little time in getting any new faces in especially with the boardroom shenanigans.

This is why its imperative he gets fresh faces in fast.

A season defined by who we bring in before the window closes me thinks. Squads nowhere near strong enough. Whilst Cardiff bring in Bellamy we look to some no mark from Southend.

Unless our squad changes dramatically very soon get ready for a very long very hard season.

9 of todays team played last year we weren't mediocre then tough set of opening fixtures + new style of playing = time needed :bang:

I am going to remain realistic, we are 3 games in and yes the results aren't the best but this is far from Sousa's team and I still think we will make significant moves in the transfer market before the window closes. Certainly think we are a long way off questioning whether Sousa should be sacked.

Let's see what he can do with the transfer kitty available and I think i will start to worry at xmas, if we are struggling then. Didn't Sousa take a bit of time to get Swansea moving up the table.

Chill and have a sandwich :icon_bigg

In terms of a side chasing promotion, I think you can add Berner, Gallagher and Dyer to that list. Sell of all these players, and we should be able to raise £3m to add to the £ 10m that the new owners have supposedly available for new players. £ 13m should buy 5-6 quality players for the Championship

Am I mistaken, or did the likes of Gallagher, Dyer, Berner, N'Guessan, Oakley and Howard get us to within a few minutes of the playoff final last season?

Assisted by Waghorn, Vaughan, kermogant, Spearing, Bruce, Brown, mcGivern yes.

Sousa said on SSN we deserved something. Now I didn't go today, nor did I listen to the game, but something tells me he's talking out of his arse?

Sounds very similar to most of Sousa's post-match comments whenever Swansea lost or drew last season. I remember him saying something along the lines of "we didn't deserve that" quite often.
