In Levein's defence he had to drastically reduce the budget and try to rebuild a squad which was never going to be easy, but this season we have given our Managers every opportunity to compete and sign some of the best players available at this level.

Clemence, Oakley, Howard, Alnwick, Fulop, Campbell and Hendrie bear testament to that, the truth is the Managers we have appointed have been nowhere near the quality required to get the best out of a very good squad and excellent resources.

At this moment in time, I am resolute. I will not be a season ticket holder next year if the prices go up. For the first time in 20 odd years.

I think raising the prices after this season would be nothing short of scandalous. I refuse to pay for the idiotic mistakes of our owner. It's his feck-up, let him pay for it.

I hope to be joined by thousands more in thinking this way? I think we need to make this viewpoint very clear to MM and his cronies over the next few weeks as prices are decided.

I don't base my decision on anything to do with the shite served up week in and week out for the last 4 years. Or the league we play in.

I have the cash for my season ticket set aside already. If it costs one penny more than this season, it will be spent on something else.

I don't have a ST as I know there will always be too many games in a season that I'll miss due to other commitments, but last season I went to over half the home games, the season before I went to even more. This season I've been to just 3 and one of those was thanks to free tickets from BG. I have also been to neutral grounds to watch 2 other teams playing.
I did listen to the whole match on the radio last night and nothing I heard made me regret not going. To me it's £100 (2 adults, 2 teenagers plus transport, refreshments and the o/h's betting!) that I just can't justify spending anymore as none of us were enjoying it.

I am a mug. I live on the hope that one day we'll have a season where we crusade through the league. Generally I stick to away games now - mainly for the craic pre and post match.

I don't want to visit League 1 ground as a neutral atm either because I could see all of them next season.

Well seeing as i aint missed one yet this season i will probably enjoy going to all the lower oleague grounds next season, even if we are shite just need to keep the faith.

Of course I'll be there. What else would you do? And anyway there is something n the Leicester fans make up about "never being happier then when miserable" - its me down to to a tee.

My favourite City story is having beaten Man Utd in the Carling Cup ... fans were moaning on the way out of Filbo saying ..."we should've scored three - why haven't we got a decent striker" -nothing changes.

Not based on tonights disappointing result i'm interested to know what peoples thoughts are regarding supporting the city next season.

It goes without saying that this as been one of the worst seasons in the history of LCFC . Here are a few questions that i would like your feedback on
This being the fourth consecutive season of dross, are you people that attend regularly, contemplating cutting down or even stopping because of the long term failure of the club?
If and when we sign a few more players in the summer, would it persuade you to carry on supporting in your usual way?
Have you not given it another thought and will carry on just the same next season?
Will you go if we are in the championship, but not if we are in lge 1.
Will you need to cut down because of a combination of the team not performing, and increasing fianancial pressures which make football become something of an unnecessary luxury.
If you travel to away games, will you reduce the number of games you attend, or even just go to the home games.

Not expecting an individual to answer all these questions, but any of those that maybe relevant to you
I ponder these questions on a night when only 19k (if i'm right) turned up to watch an important game. Is it now that the Leicester public are starting to tail off with their support, after what seems a never ending bleak period in the clubs history.

Well, you know what BB, i don't get to games anymore as finances and being 120 miles and the thick end of 3 1/2 hours away (each way) make it nigh on impossible for me, but when i waste 1 1/2 hours on sky sports praying for City to score every game and then the obvious downer when we lose AGAIN, i really have had enough.

I love our club deeply, but these cnuts are pushing ALL of our patience to the f*****g limit. How can we not beat Preston? Our team (on paper) was far better and more capable than theirs.

I'm beginning (or continuing) to think our club has an incurable disease. I don't know the answer to put things right, what i do know is that if it's not sorted out soon, we will (law of averages, suggests), get relegated.

Our great support is waining and will wain further. Whoever knows what the f**k is wrong, please, please, please sort this f*****g s**t out NOW!

For the last three seasons I've missed increasing numbers of games. 2,4, & 8. That's a lot of money down the pan. I sold my ticket to a friend this season in November because I still missed half the games - though ocassionally I 'buy' a game back from him. Once you wean yourself off, as I've done this last 3 seasons, it's not that hard. I can no longer give unconditional support in terms of attenance to the club. They, in my terms, are on performance related pay. I'll pay to watch them, when they start to be worth watching. Sorry, that's the way it is.

Not so much the budget restraint but isn't that exactly what Ollie is charged with doing?

Leveins task was a damn sight harder than Ollie's. With the budget on offer to Ollie he was able to go out and compete for players like Oakley, Howard, Hendrie etc players that Levein could have only dreamt about signing. Instead Levein had to try and find bargains in the lower leagues, gambles from Scotland or young reserve players in the Prem.

Completely different scenarios and yet at present very similar results. Maybe Levein was a lot better than we thought :102:

But Levein had a summer transfer window instead of the notoriously difficult Jan window, Leicester City when Levein joined was a damn site more favourable to players coming in than now.

He didn't have a millionaire backing him though

It was unfortunate that he was sacked two weeks after buying Fryatt. Up until the November of that season, we (imo) were playing good attacking football but not getting the results. If Levein had been given another four weeks, I, personally, believe he would have turned the season around.

As many have said though, it's not about the performance, it's about the results ... for the majority anyway.

Short memories you lot

Prior to Levein going we had taken about three points from ten feckin' straight league games, and were playing the most godawful shite dire football we had seen (up until that point, I hasten to add)

The moment the useless feckwit walked out the door we started to improve. Please don't hark back to the "Good Old Craig Levien Days" and pretend that the cnut was even the remotest bit capable of doing the job, because he wasn't

And since he left who exactly has done better ?

And since he left who exactly has done better ?

All of them as we aren't in the bottom 3!!!

Levein picked up some half decent players for peanuts, but that rest was shocking.
