Whichever way you look at it, this season's finish was at least as good as last season's. Over the last ten games, it was better.

I think all of the teams in the championship will struggle next season, I can't see any team finishing in the top six, which will be a bit strange.

Maybe so, but the implication was that a team finishing a season strong should carry it on into the start of the following season.
My point with Bolton, is that this is not necessarily so.

I think this is a sound decision. McDermott was never going to be of sufficient calibre to get Leeds back as a serious club.

I think you're both right. The last ten or so years at Elland Road has been a long string of piss-poor decisions. This one, I believe, is a good one.
