Re: Chelsea / Brum v Leicester FA Cup Quarter Final

Just don't get it. We are one game away from Wembley, we are an average Championship side likely to be playing a current Champions League team. Whilst they are currently poor they will be looking for a trophy and this is probably their best chance.

I am gutted with the draw.

Cheer up!

We'll be playing Birmingham.

Surprised I'm the first one to mention Erland Johnsen. Revenge?

Is Mike Reed still around? Would be a nice gesture to invite him to the game!

Shame as there are some average teams in the draw. But hey ho it's Chelsea, who do have a lot of history, especially something about boxing day?

We get it, you're a bitter Hull fan.

We get it, neither of you know what 'hear, hear' refers to.

He's around here somewhere...

I expect Chelsea to see off Brum in the replay. Brum had their chance and not likely to get it again.

Chelsea have a really congested fixture list at this time and if we get stuck into them then we could well get a result.

Quick note for relevant SAG's
Birmingham - 15% of 30,009 = 4,501

Chelsea - 15% of 41,837 = 6,276

No excuses

Why is it likely that we'll be playing Chelsea? They drew at home against a Chmapionship outfit, Birmingham now get to play them on their own patch and therefore anything can happen. Even if Chelsea do win the fact that Birmingham came away with a draw shows that it can be done and we gave them an extremely good run for their money in the League Cup a few years back when they were on that massive unbeaten run at home. It wasn't the perfect draw by all means but it wasn't terrible. I would have feared Spurs, Liverpool or Sunderland more than Chelsea.
