Happy but not happy if you know what I mean! Funnily enough, we were talking about the managerial situation before the game, and the general feeling was to stay with taggs and moustachio man bearing in mind the possible other candidates. I mean, my boss here reckons Joe Royle is in poll position at the moment:mad:. I'd rather stick with what we've got, and I felt that before the game last night, just in case anyone accuses me of bluemongitis.;)

I mean, unlike you I was there and unlike you I choose to look at the positives rather than just the end result.

Oh I see, so because I "wasn't" there I don't have opinion. I see where you are coming from now. so only 6000 fans can have a say on last nights match. Well let me know the next time you don't go to a match and I can then remind you not to say anything.

Frank Burrows for manager eh?

Not what I meant at all. If I hadn't been there my own opinion *might* have been different. But to be there in amongst over 6,000 of us, be part of a fantastic atmosphere and see in the flesh the performance I did, well I'm ****ing proud of each and every one of the team last night and if you want to go on being pissed off by it all then I'm ****ing glad I'm not you ;)

He is not a long term solution, but might do for a couple of weeks until a decent candidate becomes available and/or wants the job

Joe Royle is a ridiculous option - bordering on the insane

Yeah you've got an opinion mate ,its just the wrong one :icon_bigg:icon_bigg:icon_bigg:icon_wink

Extraordinary performance. Result is irrelevant in the bigger picture.

Tonight showed that we are still capable of anything. Top drawer cup run to be fair.

Without Clemence, Hume, Wesolowski to boot.

Respect to Burrows and Taggart. It will be very interesting to see what happens on Saturday.

Virtually any other team in the world wouldn't have been upset with putting in a show at Chelsea like we did tonight. Any criticism of it is bang out of order and frankly, embarrassing.

Absolutely!

And it proves our squad is not as bad as many seem to believe.

Possibly to focus on the positives of last night.
well we will see how far up the Championship this result propells us. I will bet its back to "as you were" on Saturday. The league is far more important and I need to know why they cannot play like last night week in week out at our level? The opposition we face is far from star studded.

6500 city fans last night sining and chanting as we left the ground all the way back to the coaches which had parked about a mile and half away .

As you have been saying im not happy we lost by a late goal but to be in the lead and almost beat a 100 millon pound team with a £3.50 one is something to be proud of :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Sining? Soho gay bars after the match was it then?

You might also be happy that a Leicester team that has languished near the foot of the Championship showed some fight and held out well against one of the top teams in the country

You might be happy by the fact that the group of players performed well as a team, and proved that they can actually be more than 'much of a muchness' - providing a slim flicker of hope for the remainder of the season, rather than be written off as total shite (as the previous manager chose to do)

You might be happy that one or two of the players who have not had a sniff so far (Cort, Campbell, Kenton and Levi) have shown that they might make better options than the other cocksuckers who have been playing all season

You might also be happy that the incumbent manager recognised that the only way to salvage the night was to switch to 4-4-2 and attack the feckers rather than play five at back and wait to get thrashed. Maybe, just maybe, he might have learnt some lessons for future games

You might also be happy that the team get some positive press, and maybe doesn't seem such a feckin' poison chalice to the likes of Paul Jewell and Billy Davies

You can feel pissed off by the result, and losing two goals at the end of the game - but you could also feel very upbeat about a number of things coming out of this game
