Im not looking forward to this years Xmas party. Started a new job they are all boring, well apart from the ex pro footballer. There's this crappy secret santa, same thing as my old place. I asked someone what was the most exciting thing someones recieved at these doo's, both people i asked said, " a jumper which didn't fit Neil." FFS how BORING. Last year i bought someone a £5 Anne Summers voucher, me personally recieved a inflatable tits. Some life needs to be injected in my new place, bloody dull people :icon_roll

I just hope when everyones pissed next Friday everyone can have a laugh, last two Xmas' I've made a fool of myself, I intend to make it 3/3...thats Xmas for you :icon_bigg

Bit like me but once people get to know I am not so bad.

I'm very much the same Hazz,I'm that bad that I can't even go out in a big group of people not even if I know them.I can just about handle a group of 4 or 5 friends who know me but anything else and it freaks me out so I don't bother.I steer clear of socialising at Parties because it gives me the fear.

Unfortunatly DHL are a bunch of ****s and can't quite manage organising a Christmas party for the stff who ****ing slave for it.

I hate DHL.

My company will be holding the corporate party at one of the hotels in London in January.

I'll get terrorised for this but I was once caught at a party reading a book :icon_lol: and I kept my coat for the whole night.

I've got one to go to tonight with the folks from my old job ... Can't wait :026:

I generally find that only saddos, ****s, no lifes, not rights and "Oh, I'm so whacky and such a nutter"s enjoy works Christmas parties.

Of course, there are exceptions to my logic which I'm sure you're all about to point out to me, but I generally won't believe you.

I used to find that too. You had to work with the twats but then you were expect to socialise with these tossers at xmas as if you were all big friends.

Party?

We don't have parties where I work. They have lunch and a civilised chat. Nobody drinks, people eat, talk about work and their Christmas plans this year, then all head back to the office for a couple of hours causal work in the afternoon. That's what happens where I work.

But might I add, I probably work at one of the most brown corduroy, rainbow cardigan, long bearded, geeky, 1970's spectacles wearing, stuck up, and degree thirsty places in the entire world.
