I finish for Christmas in 2.5 hours time, back in the office (which is at home) on 3rd January, let the partying begin.

The morning after the night before. Christmas party was amazing last night, but I literally can't function at work today. Absolute write off.

At the moment, I finish paid work on Thursday. I'm not expecting any instructions at the moment, as I suspect that most of the people I come across will wait until the New Year to address their problems. It could be a stressful and busy January/February for me and my fellow "colleagues".

My works do is next Thursday... I'm expecting some states (and I wont be one of them ;) )

They were at ours. I feckin' hate the work do at our gaff. I wouldn't associate with 90% of the folk who attend. I wasn't drinking to ensure a quick getaway.

Completed the shopping today and still ended up spening a good amount of one's self.

Four and half days left. Finish at 12ish, drink with the decent work colleagues and then off a posh meal at The Case with some family.

Oooh nice!

Four days left for me!! :icon_bigg

My works party was brilliant: While they were all paying hand over fist for some crap comedy meal I was with real people in a curry house off my tits.

I'm blessed with a lot of decent colleagues in general, we all get on really well. the bosses all had their own party too, so we didn't have to go out with them thankfully. The party was at some wanker bar in Shoreditch, but the booze was free all night, there was a casino, live band, cocktail making masterclass, there were some rooms upstairs where people were playing fifa and stuff... it was class. Not many people showed up to work the next day, most of the lucky bastards still had some time off to use. Not me. I did manage to do absolutely no work all day though.

Nice description of the location :icon_lol:

I've been out a few times round there as two of my brothers live nearby, which bar was it?

Villain Bar, it's part of the East Village Club on Great Eastern Street - only about a five minute walk from Old Street, which was handy.

Not sure I know that one but been to Great Eastern Dining and Cantaloupe on GE Street and plenty near Old Street so it's an area I've been to a fair bit. I enjoy it but I find people love themselves a bit too much for me to go out too much round there.

Remember about 30 years ago, we had a real horrible and nasty boss ( this was in the days when they could simply sack you on a whim ) and he was warned by several people that it wouldn't be a smart move for him to go to the Christmas do.

He said, they wouldn't dare do anything.

He was wrong:icon_lol:

Don't tell me you got him drunk and made him wear a Forest shirt in public?!
