Tear them apart like this;Thorstein Helstad? Signed him for Brighton on FM10. Fired us into the Prem.
I know this is a sensational occasion for us but I'm sorry, the Burnley match is far, far more important now. We need to win that match. Therefore, I'm in favour of some serious squad rotation for this one.
Looks like City might not be the only ones with half an eye on the CL this weekend. Club Brugge lost 1-0 in their Jupiler League game at Waasland-Beveren last night.
Load of bollocks
I think you lot are delusional.
I think you lot are delusional.
Our priority should be to get some points on the board as early as possible in the league. Are we so arrogant as to take our place in the Premier League for granted already?
So far, we're not doing a good enough job. Our next three away games are Man Utd, Chelsea and Spurs. If we play anything like we have done so far. they will be three confidence sapping defeats.
This means our home matches become ever more important. Immediately following our first five Champions League games are absolutely huge home league games that we can't afford to go into half arsed because we've battered ourselves in the week.
If we prioritise the Champions League, I think we're heading for a relegation scrap because we won't pick up enough points from these matches and then we'll be stuck down there. If we make it through the Champions League group and then get battered by the first decent side we play, as is inevitable, will it be worth it? I don't think so.
The team I'd rotate to for the Brugge match still contains eight full internationals and cost us about £60m. On current form, they're also as likely to get a result as the usual side. If we'd another three of four points right now and looked like the side from last season, my view would be different.
BN - no one mentioned taking our position in the Prem for granted, but there is no need to shit yourself at having 4 points from the first 4 games considering we have 34 games more to play.I think you lot are delusional.

Your view is small minded.
Good job we didn't concentrate on only beating a third of the teams we played last season and give up on the others.
Stop panicking. It's early days.
Get a ****ing grip. It's September for **** sake.

If we carry on as we are now we will get ~38 points which will be more than enough, but we won't we will finish at least ~10th.
We must try to win the Champions League.
Astonishing arrogance about our ability in the Premier League, the quality of the Champions League and our ability to cope with the additional matches. Look back on typical European performances from teams new to the Champions League or how several extra matches have previously weighed upon league results from squads like ours. And by all means, come back on me if we've got, say, another ten points from the next six games. But on current evidence, we'll be nowhere near.
I'm sure Ranieri understands the dilemma. The problem will be player power with the usual suspects wanting to play in every match until they get shagged out or injured. His selection for this game will be very revealing. For example, Morgan shouldn't even travel given his exertions this season already and the knock he picked up yesterday.
