Cmon City, let's go at them from the off and upset them. They're on good form recently, but lost to Barnet last weekend, so let's not let them settle and get back into their stride.

To be fair though what else could we do..? Hammond injured, Hume and Fryatt starting.. theres only Cadamarteri left..

IF the midfield / attack play to their potential we could score more than 1 today, even with Colchesters dependable defence.
The more often Hume & Fryatt play together the more chance that they will get working like they did lasht season.

I don't know if I'd use them ina league game myself what with them being unproven really.. having said that, what we have tried so far this season hasn particularly worked wanders so I guess it may have been worth a go to atleast put them on the bench. I personally would have done the same with Kelly on this one though.

But we havn't got anything that is proven really, and they are never going to be able to prove themselves if they don't get a chance.

I'm not someone that believes in throwing a load of youngsters in all over the place because "they can't be worse than what we've got", but when we don't have other options then we should be using them. If we're losing today, Cadamateri will come on somewhere, and then what other changes can we make? Johansson or Stearman could come on, with either Maybury or Stearman playing right mid perhaps, or we'll put McCauley up front, but they aren't attacking changes...


Anyway, the game should've started now, so cmon City!
I'm still waiting for WMP to update as for some reason it's decided it can't play the radio feed on WMP 9 today, even though it does it every other week..
