Perhaps if you took the time to read the whole post and made the effort to comprehend it? Selective quoting is though easier for you.
I did. It still doesn’t make any sense to say no one wants him out in a thread titled “Cooper out.”

It’s a results business and at the moment I don’t think anybody is confident we can turn up and put in a dominant 90 mins.

We’ve seen glimpses of some good stuff, but a lot more shit stuff. The lack of any clear style or plan is also difficult to take.

I hope he takes the international break to tweak a few things, Ndidi as a 10 is crazy, as is playing Buonanotte right wing. I’d give him until after Brighton, if the results aren’t coming and the team still looks a complete mess then I think he will be gone.

But you said ‘this lot’ implying everybody in the thread, when the majority are saying he needs to get a grip if he’s to stay.

I do actually agree with much of this.

And you’re right I’m not confident we can turn up and put in a dominant 90 minutes. But how many newly promoted teams will dominate for a whole match?

We popped into a canalside pub alongside the main Welshpool to Newtown road earlier today. By the look of the barmaid's boat, she could have been Cooper's sister. We were lucky to have her but it did put me off my meal somewhat.

After 11 games it looks increasingly like there is going to be a mini league of 7 teams looking to stay out of that bottom 3. Of that league of 7 currently we're well placed. I think it's too early to say whether he will be successful. He's not had a chance to have a fair crack of the whip. If you are an Ipswich fan now are you saying the same thing about McKenna?

Cooper has come in to a club which, despite being promoted, had a huge black cloud hanging over them at the start of the season. Nobody honestly expected us to stay up. At the minute, we're holding our own. Its easy to get bogged down in negativity when things aren't looking like 2015/16 but being realistic this kind of dogfight is surely what we all expected and we have every chance of staying up the way things are going.

He needs more time in my opinion.

Pretty well rounded point that - no place for it here!

A lot of fans have never been having Cooper and he's probably started with the lowest credit in the bank of any manager since Megson, so a few dud performances the calls to change are loud (and with based on some of the performances, with merit).

That said, the truth of it is, the squad is shite. We've got an ancient and injury prone Vardy as our only real striker at the club. We signed players like Okoli and Édouard, neither good enough. We've spunked decent money on Skip and El Khannouss - neither are close to troubling the first team.

This isn't an easy, nor an attractive job.

Oh and by the way, Potter won't happen. The only option in my opinion is probably Moyes, who would undoubtedly keep us up. Given what punishment could await in the league below, we have to do everything we can not to end up there.

Ipswich are adapting by changing their approach based on what they are learning. They will soon move above us because of this. McKenna also has plenty in the bank.

Our manager couldn't learn his own ****ing name.

It isn't too soon to see exactly what our problems are, especially as they are exactly the same problems as we had in pre-season and still haven't been addressed.

Absolutely no one is expecting anything like our 2015/16 season. That's a daft comparison. What we are expecting is the very basics to be right most of the time. We aren't even close to this. It's not a big ask really.

Cooper has systematically deconstructed everything we had put in place. His constant mantra of 'giving the players freedom' is dumb; they don't need that. They need to be told what to do and how to do it. They need to hone their skills. It's called 'management'.

Cooper is a dud. Forest are a lifetime away from where they were under him.

And the manager had a hand in this.

It's a complete horror show.

Also not convinced Cooper has lost the dressing room, personally. We wouldn’t have seen the fightbacks we’ve seen recently if the players weren’t giving their all for him.
Fightbacks are in the past tense, there will come a time (if we are not there already) when the players can't be arsed to fight back because of a deficit (again) and because they can see the 'set up' mistakes that the manager can't or wont see and change accordingly.

It's called 'getting pissed off.'

I agree, but as others have suggested, we need to learn from mistakes and that will help us get there.

This is my main issue. If we were a club new to the PL, like we were in 2014, I would be more understanding.

However, we've got 13 players in the squad that were here in 22/23 and added several more with plenty of PL experience (Ayew, Winks, Skipp, Edouard, Coady, De Cordova Reid, etc.).

We've also got a manager who has sufficient PL experience to know what is right or wrong about setting up a team for what we need.

We're not naive because we're fresh young things. We're being unnecessarily naive. The manager isn't doing a good enough job with what he has.

They might well have signed some new players since. In your words, “a daft comparison”.

I am sure I’m not the only one on this forum that thinks Moyes would be an excellent appointment.

I think West Ham were mad to just let him go.

It’s 13 players that were not good enough to stay in the division in 22/23, a few others not good enough to join a Premier League team last season so dropped to the Championship in 23/24, plus some other new players we have had to integrate.

The fact is, we’re a newly promoted team that were playing in the Championship next season.

I feel like this is part of the problem. Many people seem to have forgotten the last couple of years and think we’re an established Premier League club.

We all know there is no way on this ****ing earth that we should have got relegated the season before last.
