From thebluearmy.co.uk:

Holloway's side nearly undid their early work by gifting Coventry an equaliser after 15 minutes.

Dele Adebola's flick header from a long clearance looked harmless, but Patrick Kisnorbo and Alnwick left the ball to each other on the edge of the area and allowed Leon Best to nip in.
Alnwick recovered enough to thwart Best, but the ball broke to Adebola, who with the goal gaping, rolled his shot against the outside of the post.
.

From lcfc.co.uk:

The Sky Blues came close to equalising on 14 minutes when a mix-up between Gareth McAuley and Alnwick allowed Dele Adebola a clear sight of goal, but the burly striker somehow found the left-hand post, with the ball going behind for a goal-kick.

It was Stearman, wasn't it?

No. It was McAuley. Incident right in front of me and I am 100% certain of it.

I'm not sure why this thread seems to have so much criticism of Stearman. McAuley made far more errors on the day.

OY Donkishino - that's one of my old avatars that you are using. Or have you been to Prague as well?

The NOTW reckoned Stearman worthy of the CCC team of the day.

He was nowhere near as bad as some people on here are suggesting, but the NotW reporter might have been a bit over-excited.

I've read several sunday papers today and he's scored 7 or 8 in everyone of them.

As per Bocs post above, McAuley didn't play all that well (maybe playing for a move ??) and made more errors than Stearman. I actually thought Stearman had a good game.

he was awful, stop defending him

Not sure where all the yellow rest to none at the start of the year :102:

Usually the yellow card thing is reset later in the season, end of February I think.

at some point all yellow cards get wiped clean around this time of year ,im not sure if this has happened yet or not if it has PK is on one card and wont miss anything :icon_wink

The yellow cards are never wiped clean - they stay there for the whole season.

The difference is that the '1 game ban for 5 bookings' does not take place after the end of Fenruary - if a player reaches 5 bookings after 1st March, he simply gets a warning as to future conduct. The '2 game ban for 10 bookings' applies to bookings until the second Sunday in April. The punishments for 15 and 20 bookings go on until the end of the season.

It's the end of February.

The FA's rules:

7. PUNISHMENTS Relating to First Team Competitive Matches(FTCM)

(a) CAUTIONS ADMINISTERED ON THE FIELD OF PLAY
(i)If a Player accumulates five recorded cautions in FTCM between the opening day of the Playing Season and the last day in February in the same Season, he will be suspended automatically for a period covering: -
One First Team Match

But note that there is nothing about the slate being wiped clean.

If the 5 or 10 cautions are reached after the respective cut off dates then the player gets a warning as to his future conduct at the end of the season.
