I thought Oakley was fairly obselete TBH, but then it was his cross which led to the goal wasn't it? Kisnorbo was a man mountain, as was McAuley.

Can't fault your your assessment of the central defensive pairing.

I think the narrowness of wide players didn't help the two in central midfield as the ball out to the wing into space was not on that often, but I thought they both did a good job in breaking up the play.

Neither central midfield pairing stamped their authority on the game. No matter how much Beagrie and Goodman wanted to masturbate over Derry's performance. We gave him a bit of space by dropping the midfield deep and he crabbed a couple of passes sideways... great...

we played against a team who go out to hustle and bustle and kick shit out of everyone on the pitch. the fact we didn't allow this to dictate play in their favour is cracking stuff, its no surprise that it was a poor game...neither is it a big shock that cocknose is bitter and a complete moron

Our defence was awesome tonight - Palace are the best team in the league on current form and didn't get a shot on target all game. Superb. Mattock's best game for us - looked very confident.

Hayles chip over the keeper unbelievable - Michel Platini in his prime couldn't have done that...

Against Cov Laszko was the one who looked very good, tonight Bori looked the part, which tells me they've both got what we want.

I don't agree with those having a go at Hume; he works hard, he's got good skills, he does try things which don't always come off, he hits an excellent dead ball and he never hides. This league is not knee deep in players with those qualities.

The pitch is such a mess because it got ruined during the the Cov game.

Blackpool way, Plymouth at home - could this be our run?

Awful game.

But it doesn't matter right now.
We need to grind out results to move us up the table and thats means passing football isn't going to be a priority to begin with.
But the more games we get points from, the more confidence the players will get and the more comfortable they'll be on the ball.

I'm quite happy at the mo!

About bleeding time you miserable bleeder :icon_bigg

I know!
The past two seasons have turned me into one of the sort of fans I used to hate sitting near, not being able to find a good word to say about anything!
I'd like to get back to the sort of fan who tried to seeat leaset one good thing in every game.:icon_bigg

excellent result tonigh, now we have a chance to go forward, and drag ourselves up the table

Clueless shower of shite. Hayles didnt look interested at all until the ball hit him and went in. The Coventry game is nearly ready for myth status along side the Watford game. Im happy with three points though could be the difference between staying up and going down.

Hume was poor on the right, Hayles passing and protecting of the ball wasn't up to much, fluke goal. Lazcko looks ok, Bori could be the key player, looks good on the ball, doesn't just hack at it, plays it sensibly. I don't understand what system Holloway is trying to play. I don't understand his substitutions ... reminds me of Mickey mouse Adams substitutions. Still not impressed.

We won, the substitutions help us get the better of a pretty determined Palace side who barely got a sniff. Nothing like an Adams fiasco and under Ollie we play for 90+ minutes not 80.

It wasn't a great game but against cocknose's team it was never going to be, I can't wait to watch it all again just to see the bitter 2@ after the game.

tbh I think the Cov game says more about how really awful they were than that we were really good......

Thankyou Blue Army~~ It was so nice to hear we won 1-0 to a high flying team. Well done, and please keep it up~ Big up to tha Foxes massive ^0^

ye, this palace side is on form, it may have been shite to watch, but they're in good form right now, so we must have played brilliantly to keep them at bay. the goal was a bonus, if we play like that against the lesser sides, we can do well

I don't remember Alnwick touching it really

Really? Can't recall him having a save to make but he touched the ball quite often.

I really wish he would adapt his kicking style though. Several kick outs wasted into touch.

A rubbish game but what did we expect from Warnock? No doubt we would have lost that game 0-1 or 0-2 last year.

I haven't seen a City defence that commited for a long time, brilliant.

His substitution to bring on Bori made a hell of a difference. I knew Zsolt would go off but Hume surprised me.
