Well it was a fuzzy pic but he seemed pretty self assured. tried to play a lot of triangle passes with teammates but most of them only seemed to know how to run for high balls. I hope he brings a bit of that passing to the team cos we need it. Really too little time and play to say much yet.

A relief that we got through. Not a good performance owing to two of our most talented players Tunchev and Dyer having below par games. Is this the first hattrick since Dickov in 2002-2003? The match thread was critical of Howard though thisd seemed to come from people watching it on TV. I have been critidcal of Howard in the past but thought he did well today. No Gilbert on the bench. Is he still injured?

Defensively all over the place, Tunchev had easily his worst game for us so far, the others looked totally out of sync with each other.

Good job Martin was alert, if it wasn't for him we might well have been embarrassed.

Berner, Dyer and King were anonymous.(Even the RL Commentary were 'negative' about Dyer and King today, normally they are gushing with praise for them both)

Just glad we are through to the third round tbh, it would've just seemed wrong to not be there, even if we've scraped through.

made hard work of it, although we were never behind for long. thought Martin had his best game for us and i know some will disagree but imo Howard played reasonable well. through to the next round thats the main thing. poor crowd again but still the highest of the day in the cup. If we draw one of the big boys all the stay away fans will be scrambling for tickets.
