Apparently, Tunchev's previous club were staring bankrupcy and we're about to be slung in the Bulgarian Third Division hence him signing here. Well a few weeks after his signing, CSKA were reinstated to the First Division.

Funnily enough the 6-1 game doesn't appear on Soccerbase, but the 'replay' does. But as far I'm aware the statistics from the game still count, and the 3 goals certainly counted in Gary's goals for the season.

I have to say, past results are one thing Soccerbase is useful for. The other is the head-to-head feature.

I'm fairly sure the game was annulled, and treated as if it never happened, but I have no idea. I was 2. Maybe someone can confirm one way or the other?

No. The game stood and the goals count towards the individuals' records. The second game at Coventry was designated as a replay.
