If he was that good and he has been watching him since he played for Rushden then he would have been able to get him for peanuts in January as Luton were in administration. He couldn't have been that interested at the time could he??

Didn't the administrators for Luton in early January make all players available for transfer due to their dire financial plight and releived the management team of their duties with immediate effect?

administrator or not the move is down to the player to accept, he still has a contract and the admin cannot just tear that up and demand he comes to LCFC.

Maybe:

a) Holloway need to provide a nice quote for the article. Maybe didn't even say it himself.

b) He had big targets in January but they didn't come off. Bell was an after-thought.

Simple really....to me it just sounds rent-a-quote. How many times do you hear manager on signing a new player say the words 'we've been chasing him for a while'.

I didn't say he was shite. I just said that he is a panic transfer who if was that wanted by Holloway would have come in the transfer window and we already have a youngster playing well in the division that he has come from in Max Gradel.

As I have already stated I hope he becomes a quality signing for us and if he at least tries then he will be a good aquisition compared to the workshy lazy sods we currently have. Does it not worry you though that if he was so class somebody else would not have already been in for him?

So he would not have come in January but now wants to as we head towards league 1? I don't understand the logic behind the point you try to make. Surely he would have been more likely to say yes in January than now?

He can play on either wing as well as in the middle of the park.

(which probably means he'll be in goal)
