Have you looked at Reidy this season ? 13 goals from open play in a struggling side and the most assists in the Division. Don't mistake Forest having a poor year for Reid not having a good season. He didn't make the team of the season for nothing.

It is about talking the price up and letting clubs know that he is not going on the cheap.

Reid won't go for less than £5m, if I am wrong, you are quite entitled to bring that quote back up.

i have been to the City ground a few times this season and I think that Reid is quality but not worth 5m, not in today's transfer market anyway.

1 Dickov signs 2 year deal, announced at the end of the promotion season - the reality is 2 yr deal with a unilateral option to bail out after 1 yr
2 Scimeca signs 3 yr deal - see point 1 above

In these and other cases we were told that players had signed contracts which bound them to accept wage reductions if / when we were relegated, when in fact they had the option to leave for better money elsewhere....
