There's a bit that say that 3GB of data lets you:
Send 2000 plain text emails AND surf the web for 100 hours AND download 100 two minute videos AND download 200 music tracks.

Also webbo, can you use the dongle abroad? If so, do you have to pay more??

If you're a customer, you can log in and it tells you how much of your monthly allowance is left. If I link to it you'll need a password to see anything, so I didn't see the point of adding a link :icon_roll

Also webbo, can you use the dongle abroad? If so, do you have to pay more??

Don't know if you can use it abroad, but if you can I'm sure you'll have to pay for data used, it won't be part of the monthly allowance.

They'd need to be very short music tracks along with low quality videos to stay below 3GB at that rate.

If you're sure you're going to use it for the 18 months and can live with the 3GB limit, and are confident you can get a decent signal where you'll be using it, I think it's the best option for you at the moment.

They're allowing 4MB per music track and 8MB per video.

4MB is very conservative for an MP3, most of mine average 6-7MB with some files 10MB+.

8MB for a 2 min video file is laughable, I created an average quality .avi file last week that was 1min 57sec and it weighs in at just over 23MB.

I got it this morning from teh depot despite 3-mobile guaranteeing it would be delivered on Friday. A day of wasted holiday there then.

I've now got my Dongle out and that and it's a nice dongle - no mistakes.

I've got a SIM with it which goes in it but can I put the SIM in my phone?
