And to me - I've had 'turbo' right out in the sticks - and almost continuous useable signal on the train from Luton to London and London to Folkestone.

When I was purchasing mine, a bloke who'd had one for about a month was having a faulty one exchanged with no problem. He had gone in to the shop, thinking that he was doing something wrong and asked them to demonstrate it to him (he had brought his laptop along). The assistant very quickly realised that the dongle was faulty and exchanged it without thinking about it twice.

That's interesting Boc - I might try that as well. I suppose it looks good to customers in the store if they swap it with no quibbles so this may be a decent approach for me. Thing is, it was working fine over the weekend.....it's just so unreliable at other times!
