If you are that concerned about the lack of an "English Carnival" why not organise one? Create a buisness plan and apply for some of these "taxes" that allegedly fund celebrations of other cultures.
But here's a question you may want to consider in your buisness plan. If a Sikh couple who are English, want to attend this English carnival, would they be welcome?
Its been tried. The lefty city council are well aware of the English in Leicester and their needs, but they'd rather spend our money on foreign carnivals.
Of course the Sikh couple would be welcome, it would be tax funded you fool.

Can you quote specific examples or are you just repeating the nonsense the BNP put in their leaflets?
And you've still not told us what an English carnival is, so how can we decide if it's something we want when we don't even know what it is?
I suspect it's the kind of event the BNP hold for their members, if that's the case it's not surprising the council aren't interested.
