the message from yesterday's press conference is that we may not have been negotiating with the right people re EC. is that a failure due to our not wanting to deal with agents on the buying as well as selling side ? i recall we are not happy to work through buying agents? again, we will never find out exactly what has happended on this deal.
 
I would imagine that one of the problems might be 'economic rights', for example advertising, photo shoots, you name it and there is probably an agent for it. Such agreements seem common in South America and there could be a number of such agents wanting their slice of the 'economic cake'.

I have a similar agreement with my employers.
 
I don't see pearson splashing out on 3-4 players before the window. It's not his style. In fact how many players has he signed on deadline day ?
 
Having read some of the stuff if seems he wants to be in London. I won't believe he is coming until it see it on the official site or club twitter feed.

having said he wouldn't have had the fitness to come straight into a match situation, I'd rather have seen him replace Hammond today than GTF.

I want to be in London too. Doesn't mean I want to live here though
