the message from yesterday's press conference is that we may not have been negotiating with the right people re EC. is that a failure due to our not wanting to deal with agents on the buying as well as selling side ? i recall we are not happy to work through buying agents? again, we will never find out exactly what has happended on this deal.

I would imagine that one of the problems might be 'economic rights', for example advertising, photo shoots, you name it and there is probably an agent for it. Such agreements seem common in South America and there could be a number of such agents wanting their slice of the 'economic cake'.

Having read some of the stuff if seems he wants to be in London. I won't believe he is coming until it see it on the official site or club twitter feed.
