would it make people feel better had we lost to Man City or Chelsea instead?Nice and 9 points from 12.
Just a bit mad that the 3 points dropped were to Cardiff at home??
Oh well, all the regular first teamers can have a rest for the cup game and come back fully refreshed after to push on for the last half of the season and make that 7th spot ours.
Fifth away win. Plenty more to come, too.
No. Do wins against Man City and Chelsea mean that we should be happy to lose against Cardiff?would it make people feel better had we lost to Man City or Chelsea instead?

how can you set up to counter attack Cardiff? they didn't come to attackThat's the story of this season for me. Our home record is poor. Our away record is excellent.
We have more away points than Arsenal or Man Utd and only one fewer win away than Man City.
At home, we're less than average.
My take on this is that we're better at counter-attacking than we are setting the pace of a game. If only the manager was able to recognise how some simple changes in how we approach games at home could really help.
In the end, Puel can't really be criticised too heavily after that. Both teams were garbage but Evans came in and did well, Choudhury was restored and did well. Ricardo did well even though he was in the left and he saw fit to take the appalling Ghezzal off at HT for Albrighton which was the correct decision. Simpson came in and was our MotM for me.
