Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

It depends if he played Hobbs or not.

Agreed, not even close to being good enough for us.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Kee hit another double for Burton

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Good to see the full Motherwell v Dundee U 0-0 draw with Gaelic commentary.

Robbie "my second touch is always a tackle" Neilson cruised it on debut - very unlucky not to be awarded "Sar chluicheadair a gheama".

NP would do worse than look north of the border at Willo Flood, a winger in the Steve Guppy mould, sweet crosses and the dead spit of the banjo player in Deliverance.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

I tried to watch one of those Welsh League games on that Welsh Channel but found it hard to follow and the standard of football was pretty crap anyway

... compared to the Stringer/Former Leicester Striker Alan Young show, 90 minutes of Gaelic describing a 0-0 is a walk in the park.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Tim reckons here that Northampton are in danger of dropping out of the League

i remember them playing in the old 1st division

Northamptonshire football's going through a tough patch

"Wright appeared to fit in well up front with Lee Miller"

Good player, Lee Miller.

Lets hope he doesn't make an ill-fated move south and end up at an average League 1 side eh?

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

If he does end up at a play-off challenging League 1 side he'll probably find his form again and it will be good for his career.

:icon_lol:

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Patrick McCarthy shows he retains some of the skills he picked up at Leicester by giving away a needless penalty. Unlike when he was at Leicester, his team went on to win.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Mr Yakubu has scored 4 so far today.
