Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Yep, probably half this thread consists of posts saying "Tricky Trev has signed for _________" (insert name of team playing at a slightly lower level than his club) ;)

Except Tamworth is actually a step up from Kidsgrove Athletic - two levels in fact. Very odd.

And you should know, you are after all the specky git that started this thread. :icon_bigg

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Seems a long time ago. Time for a proper update I think.

Perhaps on September 1st when the transfer window's shut? Actually, I don't think anyone will be able to wait that long:icon_wink

Whenever it goes up methinks :icon_bigg

Don't get sloppy, its got to be the longest running LCFC thread people still post in. ('Next season's rumours' dosen't count).;)

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway admits he will have mixed feelings when he leads his new side into battle with former club QPR. "If you met your ex-missus in a pub, would you have feelings for her? Of course you would," he said. (The Sun)

The wacky twat's quote machine is in full flow for the start of the new season! Wonder how the Blackpool fans'll react to his shoe waving antics when they're 6-0 down?

He's flogged that 'football is like your missus/bird' analogy to death as well. Sort it out Holloway, once the laughter stops they realise what a shite manager you are!

I only laughed when he told Shaun Newton to do one.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

46-year-old Kevin Poole has conceded 3 in 9 minutes for Burton against Reading.

And counting...

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Kevin Ellison has just put Rotherham 2-1 up against Derby. :icon_lol:

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Callum Davidson playing for Scotland tonight for the first time in 7 years, and it is 5 years since he left us. I think we gave him to PNE because of a bad spell of injuries when we were relegated.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

O-Gravy gone to Rochdale on loan.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Phil Gilcrist playing for Quorn.

"Former Leicester City defender Phil Gilchrist has linked up with UniBond League Division One South clubQuorn.

The 35-year-old centre back made his debut in the midweek defeat at Carlton Town and remains in the squad for Saturday's trip to Chasetown.

Gilchrist, who has also set up a soccer academy in Leicester, made twenty-three Premier League starts for City in 2001 and was manager at Woking from September 23rd 2008 until early April 2009.

Gilchrist had been in temporary charge of the Cards following Kim Grant sacking on September 3rd.

Gilchrist, who has also played for Hartlepool, West Bromwich Albion and Oxford United, arrived at Kingfield as Grant's assistant at the end of May."
