Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Dodds has scored for Port Vale, O'Grady has scored for Rochdale and Kee has scored for Accrington.

Muzzy Izzet makes a comeback playing for Thurmaston Town

I guess it was a bit of a surprise for the opposition as I don't think they were expecting to see me."
Izzet also received some "moral support" from former City team-mate Steve Walsh, a big friend of Dealey.
"Walshy was there, but as soon as the whistle blew for the start, he cleared off complaining of the cold!" said Izzet

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

I understand that a Swedish journalist travelled to Woking a couple of days ago, having arranged to interview Trevor Benjamin. When he arrived at the club he was met by their Press Officer who told him that the much-travelled striker had left the club club earlier in the day.

Where next?

I don't think Muzzy will be there too long. He's complaining about his knees already.

I don't think any of the Thurmaston players will be there too long, Dealey likes to change club every year or two and take his entire team with him

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

The ambiguity of the phrase 'a Swedish journalist' must have confused me.

Next time I will be sure to say "a journalist from Sweden".
