Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

I went to Strumica, Macedonia on the weekend to see Canada play Macedonia. Canada lost 3-0 and Hume missed a penalty. There were a grand total of 2 Canadian supporters at the game, including me.

He is getting good at that. Must have learnt it from Fryatt when he visited us. :icon_bigg

Came out in a cold sweat on Saturday.
Watching Sky sports news and a "Carey " was amongst the scorers.
The nightmares just suddenly started again of when a certain BC played at Centre Half for us.

Didn't we get him from Manure?

Carey is assistant to Dean Saunders now at Wrexham and was in charge when they lost on Saturday as Sauders with the Welsh squad

Yeah, he said: "Leicester supporters will probably tell you that he didn't have a great time of it at the club..."

He was great on his debut though. Mind you so was Junior Lewis.

Gradel bags in the 89th minute for Leeds continuing their parade to the Championship.

O'Grady gets the winner for Dale against Notts County and continues my campaign to win money.

Since when has Gradel been an "ex player"?

He's not and the way he's playing hopefully he will be back in January raring to go.

I just followed up on Hazzman's story, who mentioned him first, but I included 2 ex players taking part in the same game

Stags sign Bulls striker Morris

Mansfield Town have signed Hereford United striker Lee Morris on an emergency loan until January.

Morris, who helped Burton Albion to promotion for Blue Square Premier last season, has made just nine appearances since joining the Bulls in the summer.

The 29-year-old once commanded a fee of £3m when Derby County signed him from Sheffield United in 1999.

Stags manager David Holdsworth told the club website: "I am delighted to bring in a man who knows this division."

Mansfield are currently without injured strikers Kyle Perry and Jake Speight and Holdsworth sees Lee as a short-term solution.

Holdsworth added: "We are short in attack [and] Lee will join the ranks for a short period of time.

"He has played his part at every club he has been and he is itching to do the best he can here."

Presumably he didn't ask anybody at Leicester about this.
