Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Well, you certainly weren't worried about it last night, were you ?

I've not stopped washing it for hours - it looks clean, but I know the shameful stains are still there
Oh that's it, bring it all out into the open. How will I face Alex again?

True.. I'm all about the cheap Boots oil..

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Astrit Ajdarevic has gone to Standard Liege for about 1.5 million euros.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

The most absurd thing I have read in the last five minutes. Shocked truely.

Good luck to the lad.
He's done well in Sweden, but Allsvenskan is hardly the most competitive league in Europe. Maybe he's better suited to a more traditionally continental style of play, whatever that is, rather than the Championship. That's just me speculating though, I haven't seen him a lot.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

I haven't seen him a lot.

I'd say that was the same for the majority of us. He hardly had a look in at Leicester and at Hereford when on loan. I hope he does well in Belgium, he's obviously got potential.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

He was described as the "new Patrick Berger" when he was part of the Liverpool youth set up. Now he's got a load of Swedish top league appearances and U-21 caps under his belt and a serious money move to Liege. Unlike lamey, though, no Champions/Europa league games for the minute.

Whereas with us he just looked like the kid who was always picked last in the playground kickabouts.

see also Maxi, DJ etc, etc.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Would have been a solid signing

I can see him going the same way as Mattock really. Solid enough here but nothing really special and, unless Bristol do something amazing this season, will just hover around the Championship or below.
