Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Astrit Ajdarevic is at Allsvenskan (top division) team Örebro now and has come on as a substitute in both of the first two matches after the World Cup break. He has scored three goals!

But I guess that says more about the quality of Swedish domestic football than Astrit's ability as a football player.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Still doesn't sound right, hearing an American talk about football.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Is there a past managers thread.

Sorry if already posted n the site somewhere tried searching but was getting results for Brian (eg Deane) and Little (eg he's a little c@£k)

Spotted recently that Brian Little is at Gainsborough Trinity. Surely the lowest rung living ex-manager still working in the game.

Why has he dropped so far? I thought he did a decent job for us especially compared to some of our other managers who are still working at a higher level.

Probably for the geniune love of the game after failing at Wrexham. Either that or he's buddies with someone on board at GTFC.

Alex Bruce is off Leeds

We've just hired a new guy called Stephen Hughes. It's not that one though.

Spearing in the starting XI for Liverpool's Europa League tie

*edit* before the pedants appear, Europa League qualifying tie.

It's a Europa League tie. You worry too much.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

I could be wrong, but isn't the picture on the front cover from the game against Derby when he cheated to get a penalty then celebrated like a maniac right in front of their fans?

Certainly looks like the floppy white collar from the Coq Sportif era. Classic.

According to the man himself on twitter, the picture is from his girlie scrap with Justin Edinburgh at the Worthington Cup final in 99 when he messed Sav's hair up and then fell to the ground in a heap...
