A replay isn't a bad thing. Some of the squad need game time and this provides another opportunity.

Chilwell just cannot defend and it must be obvious to even Fuchs' biggest critics why Chilwell cannot start games. The prize for biggest incompetent of the day though goes to Benalouane who might be one of the worst defenders I've seen play in a Leicester shirt. His positioning, his tackling, his inability to pick up runners are all laughably bad. King and Slimani were also their useless, inefficient selves.

Dragovic played well enough as did Jakupovic and Gray at least tried to make things happen.

Chilwell - good player - can't defend and unfortunately they haven't yet invented a position that matches his particular skills set, Andy King has a job for life but not as a footballer, Dragovic played well and found his level, Junkovic looks like a professional keeper . At least one further opportunity for players to demonstrate how inadequate back up they are and how the club has pitifully wasted millions and missed a once in a lifetime chance to move the club forward. Well done Rudkin.

I swear most people following this club would think Dimitar Berbatov was shit because he doesn't run around.

Criticism of Slimani is too harsh today. Not only did he not get any service, our midfield weren't anywhere near the game. So he's suddenly playing against 6 people not even 4.

No striker would have had a good game for us today. Midfield was worse than absent.

I saw a centre forward completely isolated yet chasing down defenders at every opportunity. I also saw zero service or support for him from anyone.

The criticism of Slimani today is wholly inappropriate.

Far more relevant is the fact that we have absolutely no creativity without Mahrez.

Chilwell doesn't have a right foot. Amartey doesn't have a left foot. That's why neither will ever fill those positions at any club.

I'd like to see Amartey at centre back. It is, after all, his position... or so we're lead to believe. Poor sod, he's not comfortable at right back and it does sometimes show

A number of managers have seen him now and none seem to want to give him a run at CB so one has to think he's not quite up to it.

Let’s not get carried away overstating how good Fleetwood were. They matched our disjointed second string, that’s all. They didn’t hammer us. They weren’t creating chance after chance. They didn’t even nearly score, not really. It was a boring game between two crap teams, neither of which were good enough to beat the crap team opposite them.

Yup. When the line-up was announced you don't need to look beyond the back 4 to realise we couldn't care. A back 4 where the player most likely to become a regular starter is a defender who can't actually defend.
