The man on the inside at Chelsea reporting that the deal is not worth a minimum of £70m with up to £10m in add ons as reported by the Leicester side. He says the total is £69.5m with no add ons.

This goes against nearly every other media outlet anywhere.

It's almost certainly complete and total horse shit bollocks flappage.

David Ornstein (a very well informed journalist) has said the same figure - £69.5m with no add ons. Both are clearly being briefed from Chelsea.

Percy, who we know gets briefed by City, has said £70m guaranteed with 'substantial add ons which are achievable'.

So one side or the other are lying.

Or both, as I suspect, know **** all and are plucking figures from the air.

Well, thats that then.

Could end up being the next Beckenbauer.

Hopefully he ends up being the next John Stones.

Please be at Everton in 2 years time. Please.

I think we all know that the length of a contract means pretty much **** all.

A seven-year contract means his club have an obligation to pay him until the end of the 2028-29 season
Well, yeah, there's that (wouldn't it actually be until 31st August 2030 though?).

What I was on about was that it doesn't mean he'll be there for seven years.
