The signing of dj would be a constructive piece of squad building - can't comment on Izzy because only seen clips but it would probably be more speculative for the obvious reason that he hasn't been previously successful at this level.

Milan does seem to be keeping to his stated game plan re. strikers being the last bit of his acquisitions policy.

At least the club doesn't seem to be brain dead these days and I'm hopeful of a real improvement come the start of the season.

As for Fowler....I would have thought that everyone would by now realise that footballing ambition was way down the list in his priorities these days. You don't have meaningful talks with FC Sydney if you are that bothered about such matters. Don't blame him but throwing good money at him for playing in our league would, in my opinion, end in tears.

IMO Izzy could play in the res team too see if he came good but not at the price they want for him
