I think that the trust have missed out on some expertise here, (I know they're volunteers and if nobody has that expertise and they can't afford to buy it in, it is difficult) because some of their statements have been inconsidered to say the least. The "oh no it isn't", "oh yes it is", pantomime over the value of the bid did nothing to move the debate forward and dragging up the groundshare issue served only to stir up fans' emotions.

The ground share issue was raised via a members survey which was specifically requested not to be sent to the media, which it was.

However talking to media contacts today, their understanding is that it is under discussion, so we were not wrong to consult our members in case it came into the mix

If you think anyone on the trust board isn't up to the job, nominate a replacement and vote them onto the board, or nominate yourself. Then we'll see if you're any good at doing anything other than moaning about people.

Well aren't you just the cock of the roost!

Aren't there damsels somewhere awaiting you to arrive on a white charger? I ask a couple of questions of the Trust and your knickers start to disappear up your ass.

1. As a member of the Trust I have the right to bitch about their incompetence.
2. As a member of the Trust I have the right to decide not to support them anymore
3. As a member of a forum I have the right to question the motives and actions of the Trust executive as long as I do not breach the rules

You want to know what I'm good at aside from bitching? Top Trumps is one thing listed on my CV. The rest you are just going to have to ponder on...when you're not to busy getting pussies from trees.

I think you are being unbalanced and very unfair....like all organisations the FT will do good things and not such good things.

I thought that serious work they did on compiling the anthology of Leicester City anthems was an important and under valued contribution towards putting Leicester City back where it belongs.

We've had a fair number of responses to our poll now, which makes interesting analysis.

If you're interested, you can find it here

You are of course quite entitled to your own viewpoint but why do you have to put in in quite such a derogatory manner.

I wonder how you, and others, would respond if the FT were to post replies that criticed you using the same language.

On second thoughts it might be quite fun to see the FT telling people to go F**k themselves, how about it FT.

Doesn't occur to you that maybe, just maybe, a journalist is on the FT membership email list FFS!

No doubt there is, but that's not really the point DB.

We are trying to be as open as we can with our members & believe they should receive certain information first & directly from us.

If everything we publish was posted straight onto our website or message boards then members might well question what is the point in being a member if the information is readily available for all to see.

All we were asking our members was to respect that.

I understand, but that wasn't the point being made in the previous post. That post was clearly a dig at whoever in the membership leaked the contents of the email to the media.

I believe that you are making strides forward in your policy of communicating with the membership.

May I suggest that only one member of the Exec has responsibility for posting under the name of Foxes Trust? The previous use of different members of the exec taking turns to post has lent the "poster" the aura of mild schizophrenia...and certainly led to me being more base in my comments than I would otherwise normally like to be.

When this is all over The Trust is going to have to have a period of reflection about how the Exec has dealt with this matter ~ the alienation some members have felt is not all about the lack of information (that couldn't be imparted anyway). There are big questions to be answered in order to take the Trust forward, and I hope that the Exec are big enough to institute this as soon as time and events permit.
